Education

Nikolai Miaskovsky was 25 years old when he applied for the Moscow Conservatory. His exams were conducted by Rimsky-Korsakov, Lyadov, and Glazunov. He presented to Glazunov his entrance composition the C minor sonata. He was admitted and these same examiners became his professors.
